Candidate Biography (submitted by candidate):

Rodney W. Moore is a native of Wilmington North Carolina.  He is currently the Managing Partner of Aski Consulting Co. a small business consulting firm that advises small and minority owned businesses.  He serves on the Board of the Commissioners of the Charlotte Housing Authority, the Urban League of the Central Carolinas, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Senior Centers, and a full life member of the Charlotte Mecklenburg branch of NAACP.  He is a Past Fellow of the North Carolina Institute of Political Leadership.  He is a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina.  He and his wife Miranda reside in University City.

I have been faithful and diligent in the opportunities that have been afforded me to serve the city of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County, and wish to take that same passion, professionalism to the chambers of the NC House in 2010.
