Candidate Biography (submitted by campaign):
35 year veteran of the US Air Force. Currently own and operate a small non-profit organization providing income tax help and free efiling to low and moderate income people and seniors.
I have a lovely wife of 35 years Linda, who is an aerobics instructor. I also have two daughters; Holly and Raquel and a son-in-law Chuck all currently living and working in North Carolina.

| Candidate Statement:
My candidacy is based on trust, integrity and leadership. I believe this state is in dire need of good leaders that are willing to do what is right for the people. We have serious problems with Mental Health care, Education, roads, and immigration to name just a few. Problems in the state will be solved by you and me working together as a team. Great leaders surround themselves with great people and I will do just that. Together we will find the people who best will serve their government, hire them, give them direction, measure what they do and hold them accountable. Those that measure up will join us in making North Carolina the great state it can be.
We must stop electing those with the most money and concentrate on the candidate with the most trust, character, integrity and leadership skills.
While my opponents are digging into the past of other candidates and the state I will be concentrating on your future. I will do what is right for the people of this great state irregardless of what any party, PAC or special interests group wants, you the people will be the focus of all we do.
We are the public servants and you are the public we serve. No where will this be more evident than in the new governor’s office. I will have one day out of the month as “people’s day” and the governor’s office will be open from 8:00AM until 6:00PM for anyone to walk in and talk with the governor, no appointment will be necessary. You and I the people will talk one-on-one. I will also direct all agencies of the state to respond to any inquiries from the public within 48 hours.
