Candidate Statement:

On March 3, I began my 22nd year serving you and the Mecklenburg County community as a District Court Judge. Now, in my sixth term, I am seeking your continued trust and support for Superior Court based on my proven track record.

In these chaotic times of economic uncertainty and increased criminal violence and gang activity in our community, it is essential that our courts provide the certainty that our laws will be enforced and applied consistently with the care, thoughtfulness, sense of fairness, dignity and civility that engenders respect for the law and the administration of justice. Your vote for judge in the May 4 primary and the November election is one of the most important votes that you will cast because it directly affects the lives of you, your family and friends. I hope that you will join with me and over 350 Mecklenburg County lawyers who have endorsed my candidacy in this very important campaign to preserve the integrity of our courts and the safety of our community.

I would greatly appreciate your vote and support. Please visit my website www.judgeconstangy.com or contact me, bill@judgeconstangy.com. I would love to hear from you. Thank you!
