Candidate Biography (submitted by candidate):

Lon Cecil was born in 1946 to working class parents. After a two year draft into US Army, with one tour in sunny Vietnam, he completed his BSEE degree from Oklahoma State University in 1972 with aid of the Veterans Education Benefit, and qualified by examination for the Professional Engineering (PE) registration in Oklahoma.  His career has been helping small and large businesses develop consumer electronics, both in USA and worldwide.

He and his beloved wife of 37 years, Claudia, have lived near High Point since 1998.  They enjoyed the diversity in weather, people and recreational opportunities of mountain and beach, until her passing in May of 2009.

He is a strict supporter of unrestricted citizen carry of weapons and ethical hunting, although most of his sporting time has been against only terrifying paper targets and the occasional clay skeet target.  No citizen should ever be denied self defense in America and his hobbies include computers, ham radio, and introducing others to pistol shooting.

Candidate Statement:

Establish an eCongress system for efficient and open Congressional operation.
