Basic knowledge of journalistic writing, principles of public relations, techniques of publishing, online communication and how the news media operates
Project Objective
To promote viewership of UNC-TV programs, participation in UNC-TV events and support for UNC-TV as an institution, and to assist with promotions of the UNC-TV Speaker's Bureau.
Project Supervisor
Director of Marketing and Communications (Steve Volstad)
Major Tasks
Internet research, writing press releases, articles for publications and website, assisting with special events and projects, and correspondence with groups interested in a speaker.

Hours Scheduled
15-20 hours a week work schedule, flexible hours, the regular workday is 8:00 am. To 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
