What can TV do to help promote fitness? TV can help with obesity or risk for obesity becoming a number one epidemic. Experts agree that TV has the potential, it has the potential to stimulate more active lifestyles for its youngest viewers. Done effectively it can have a very positive outcome. So today I am going to show you a few activities such as some of the PBS programs that can promote interactivity. Now we already did the wing wiggling with J.J. the Jet Plane. You have a lesson plan in front of you so you have two sheets of paper like this. One says episode 117, and that is the J.J. the Jet Plane episode for wing wiggling. I also listed for you the website so that you could actually go and see what other activities are available for you through J.J. the Jet Plane and his curriculum. Then there is one about our healthy body. I also listed for you a wing wiggling song so that if you want to sing along when you are playing your video in your classroom you will have the J.J. the Jet Plane wing wiggling song. And if for some reason it didn’t get passed on your table, we’ll make sure that you get a copy of the wing wiggling song. Okay?
