Hines:
Water, water everywhere. Water again is so important to your learning. It is important to you making sure that we can cut down on chronic diseases. Drink plain, pure water. I know many of us, because we are getting used to water buy those little flavor packages to go in our water to make it taste better, start trying to at least drink maybe a half a cup of water a day that is plain without the flavor stuff in it. And then gradually increase to six to eight glasses of water. We are not trying to ask you to do everything overnight but to at least start thinking about how water is going to help you. Preliminary research indicates that 8 to 10 glasses of water a day could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers, just by drinking water. A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math and difficulty—yeah, the dinosaurs do move, they talk—with basic math and difficulty focusing on the computer screen or on the printed page. So I just want you to just go back and look at these activities, or these lessons—hey, baby. The reason he is making that noise is because I timed him so that I would remember that he does need to say hello to you before we leave out today. And there is a book that is called “Five Little Dinosaurs;” who has that book? No one has that book? Okay. I have a book that is called “Five Little Dinosaurs.” And the dinosaurs jump on the bed. And at the end of the story the fifth dinosaur eats up the bed and the mama says, “No more dinosaurs eating up the bed.” So it is a cute little book but that is why the dinosaurs are here.
