Folk dancing is a tradition that is alive and well in Appalachian culture, bringing folks together for lively gatherings of the community. Dance masters skilled in clogging, flat footing, and square dancing attract groups of enthusiastic students at the annual Swannanoa Gathering at Warren Wilson College. David Holt joins Phil Jamison, Rodney Sutton, and Ira Bernstein as they give classes in these popular dance styles.
