R-E-S-P-E-C-T... seems as though everyone in public
schools from students to teachers to parents is crying out “respect
me”…but do all agree on who deserves it and how to give it?
Host Marla Roth puts the spotlight on each faction
to help everyone better understand what's needed to see more respect
in North Carolina’s public schools.
On Thursday, February 6, 2003 at 1:00 pm, UNC-TV’s
High School Assembly will address these questions in a live televised
discussion with students, teachers, and parents. This program will
feature a panel of professionals in education, parenting, and counseling
as well as live telephone calls from viewers watching around the
state. Teachers, students, and parents are invited to the studio
to participate.
