Future plans: The third grade teacher referred us to the Math Night coordinator at Lacy Elementary School. We have been invited to go back to Lacy Elementary to participate in their Math and Science Night that will take place on March 16, 2006. We will use activities from the Inquiry-Based workshop such as the "Adaptation relay, Cyperchase, and will share other science curriculum."
A PowerPoint was developed using the pictures from the Burton visit and presented at the North Carolina Reading Association Conference and the Outdoor Classroom Train the Trainer Seminar. This PowerPoint will be used in other science presentations.
