I'm so excited because I just got back from visiting a fantastic
museum located in downtown Raleigh called PlaySpace. This
awesome museum began when six Raleigh mothers wanted to provide
families with a safe year-round play space and they did just
that. The PlaySpace is a non-profit museum that is dedicated
to the education and development of young children through
just simply playing.
Can you believe they just want their young visitors
to play and have tons of fun? I got to play in a child-sized
hospital, which was a little bit difficult for me because
I'm not exactly the smallest kangaroo around. There is even
a place where you can dress up and perform on stage and play
in a sandlot and splash around in a water basin. Wow, that
sounds so neat, doesn't it?
I got to do all these things plus climb on structures
and platforms. It's like an outside playground moved indoors.
I had a wonderful visit with all my friends at PlaySpace and
I know you will too.
Off to another great place!
