St. Phillips Church
Jeff Smith takes us to St. Phillips Church in Winston-Salem.  In the late 1700's the church broke down cultural barriers as Africans and European American worshipped together and were buried in the same cemetery.

Spring Awakening
Jeff Smith takes us behind the scenes of "Spring Awakening," an 8-time Tony Award winning Broadway production that has a setting in the late 1800's but addresses issues that teens face today including suicide and pregnancy.  "Spring Awakening will be performed at the Durham Performing Arts Center March 2nd through the 7th.

Ms. Montgomery-Blinn and Ms. Stellato will talk about the purpose of the North Carolina Innocence Commission as well as the first successful case the commission had in overturning a ruling that had placed a man in jail for over 15 years for a murder he did not commit.
