North Carolina NOW will have the latest on what is taking place at the General Assembly. 

Highlands Biological Station
Heather Burgiss travels west to Highlands to visit the Highlands Biological Station. The facility is located in the southern Appalachian Mountains of southwestern North Carolina.  The station's mission is to promote research and education of the diverse flora and fauna of the region in areas of ecology, evolution, and conservation.

Jodee Nimerichter
Co-Director,American Dance Festival
Ms. Nimerichter will discuss the various international performances taking place at the annual American Dance Festival in Durham from June 10th to July 24, 2010.  This years theme is, "What is Dance Theater?"

Oil Spill/North Carolina
Rob Holliday travels to the coast and talks with an expert at UNC Wilmington to find out how an oil spill such as the one off the Gulf of Mexico could impact North Carolina's tourism and fishing.  Rob also learns of the protocols that are in place in case a similar event occurred along our state's coast.

Author, "Carolina Moonshine Raiders"
Mr. Stephenson has written a book about his adventures with his father, a former Hertford County Deputy Sheriff as he raided and destroyed illegal moonshine stills.
