The
second of the Graham children, Anne also followed her parents'
steps into ministry. She married Dan Lotz when she was 18
and now has three grown children. While she was a young mother,
she began to desire consistent Bible study and became involved
in Bible Study Fellowship. Her husband encouraged her to exercise
her gift of teaching, and after she taught for a while, she
initiated a Bible Study Fellowship in Raleigh, a class that
immediately had 500 attendees with a waiting list. As the
class grew and she received constant invitations to speak,
Anne began to feel that she should begin itinerant Bible teaching.
She established AnGel Ministries
in 1988, taking her initials, AGL, and adding letters to create
the word "angel." During that time accepted several speaking
engagements, among them Keswick, a Bible conference in England,
for which she was the first female plenary speaker, and Amsterdam
2000, for which she was the only female plenary speaker. She
has delivered messages in every continent except Antarctica,
is an award-winning author of 3 books and serves on the Board
of Directors of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
