(NARRATIVE – 9 minutes, 30 seconds)
Bobby White 

Based on a Reader’s Digest short story by Paul Villiard, this captivating tale, set in rural North Carolina in the 1920s, features a young boy befriended by an unlikely hero -- his hometown information operator.  He learns to depend on “Information Please” for help and advice, forging a bond which follows him into his adult life.

Filmmaker Profile: BOBBY WHITE

A graduate of James Madison University, Bobby White is currently pursuing a MFA degree in film and video production at UNC-Greensboro, where he produced The Willa Mae Story (with Craig Shores), one of the films in the Visions 100 series.
