(NARRATIVE – 25 minutes, 11 seconds)
Phillip Boland

Boland has taken Edgar Allan Poe’s classic horror tale, The Oval Portrait, and created a stunning film.  In South Carolina in 1865, an artist kills his newlywed wife by painting her soul on to the canvas.  She dies, and the portrait comes to life to haunt the painter.
