Aunt Magg and Me
(DOCUMENTARY – 9 minutes, 30 seconds)
Ellen Walters

This poignant portrait of an 83-year-old woman who has lived her entire life in rural southeastern North Carolina is an open-ended portrait: in the context of one woman’s life, another’s is emerging.  Unlike her niece, Jessica (featured in Walters’ film Jessica in the Visions 100 series), Maggie Terry is a self-taught woman, less by choice than by circumstance.

Filmmaker Profile: ELLEN WALTERS
