Backgammon
(NARRATIVE 11 minutes, 49 seconds)
Ramin Bahrani

A compelling story of generational conflict and cultural identity unfolds.  A persistent little girl (gifted six-year-old Sheema Regimand) desperately tries to play backgammon with her stubborn Iranian grandfather, but doesn't let his "old ways" stop her from looking outside the family for a playmate.
