Extra Ordinary An exploration of a frustrating day in the life of a movie extra, a fate often experienced by North Carolinians amidst the state's booming film business. When Walter, an aspiring actor, gets a call to be a movie extra, it's all he can do to contain his excitement. As the day wears on, his enthusiasm wanes as he finds himself stumbling into one comic mishap after another. Filmmaker Profile: LEXIE LONGSTREETAfter attending UNC-Charlotte on an golf scholarship, Lexie Longstreet pursued graduate studies at Columbia University before turning to a career in commercial and motion picture production, eventually concentrating on script supervising. Some of her credits include True Lies and Robert Altman's latest project, The Gingerbread Man. Lexie has just completed a screenplay based on Sarah Gilbert's novel, Dixie Riggs. |
