Neon: A Short Study

The fascinating subject of neon -- and its history of commercial and artistic applications, is the focus of this brief film, inspired by the work of Errol Morris and Wim Wenders. Featured are interviews with a commercial craftsman who creates neon signs, an auto shop owner who installs neon on cars and two artists who create abstract neon art.

Filmmaker Profile: ROB KOEGLER
Rob Koegler studies film, video, literature and music as a graduate student at UNC-CH. For the past five years, he has been making films and videos and working in production. His short film, The Sandwich, was broadcast on NC Visions in 1996.
