"All Eyes to the Sky"

(Documentary – 7 minutes)

All Eye to the SkyAmid ambient music and tempered lighting, this short documentary recounts three separate UFO sightings in different parts of the world, as it explores the feelings and interpretations of the people involved as they seek validation and closure. Spanning the globe from Maine to India, consistencies in what they saw and heard are left for the viewer to calculate.

Filmmaker

John Morgan Goist grew up in Raleigh and graduated from Broughton High School in 1997. During the summer of 1996, he studied video and design at the Savannah School of Art and Design. While there he produced a video entitled "Skate with Shane," which was screened at the 1997 Cucalorus Film Festival in Wilmington. He studied filmmaking at the North Carolina School of the Arts from 1997 to 1999. As part of his program in cinematography at the Rockport College/International Film and Television Workshops in Maine, he produced two video projects including "All Eyes To the Sky," which was broadcast on Maine Public Television in April 2000. Goist is currently working on several video projects in Raleigh.
