"Passions"

(Narrative – 18 minutes)

A confession goes awry when a troubled woman appears in a young priest’s private chambeSSrs wielding a gun. As she catapults precariously between murder and suicide, her startling confession pries a devastating admission from the priest, forcing him to deal with his darkest desires.

Filmmaker

Erin Upson studied drama and ballet at the North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem. Before graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree in media production, Upson interned with Academy Award-winning documentary producer Barbara Trent and Academy Award-winning producer Al Ruddy ("The Godfather"). Upson is currently developing scripts for various projects with Susan Black, writer/producer of "Passions."
