Based on a short story by award-winning writer, Steve Rasnic Tem, this film ushers the viewers into one man’s barren bureaucratic existence, as he is tormented by a shadow that peers daily through his office door until he is obsessed with catching whoever is responsible.

Filmmaker

Bureau of…marks the directorial debut from first time filmmaker Khang Mai. Once a fine arts major at University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Khang later transferred to Piedmont Community College to pursue a career in film through PCC’s Film and Video Technology program. Bureau of…is a joint co-production between Piedmont Community College and Khang Mai. Khang plans to continue his career as a filmmaker with two more short films to be completed by year’s end.
