Finding inspiration in nature, Durham artist Martha Heine weaves large wall tapestries of rich colors and textures. A heartwarming short about creation and survival, Martha Heine Tapestry Weaver shares this remarkable craftswoman’s battles with cancer and the creation of her last major tapestry.

Sandra Jacobi works in documentary video with a special interest in exploring the creative energy that sustains people in whatever it is they choose to do. She began studying video/film production and documentary at UNC in 1997 and now works on her own.
