"Strangers" (Narrative – 1 hour, 23 minutes)
Filmmaker Born and raised in America to Iranian parents, Ramin Bahrani graduated from Columbia University with a bachelor’s degree in film theory. He left New York City to work at the NC School of the Arts – Film School before moving to Iran for two years to make his first feature film, Strangers. Based on the script for Strangers, Ramin Bahrani was awarded the Prestigious Writers Fellowship from the North Carolina Arts Council in 1999 to pursue his next screenplay.
