This
animated experimental film probes into the unconscious mind to examine
various symbols of fear and anxiety. Based on a series of reoccurring
dreams and nightmares, this innovative animation short was created
through the progressive history of a single drawing - chronicling
every mark and erasure for a captivating film experience.
Filmmaker Profile: Amie Robinson
Originally from New Jersey, Amie Robinson moved to
Chapel Hill to receive her master's of fine arts degree from the
University of North Carolina. She has animated several short videos
and is currently working on animation dealing with issues of suburban
growth and the resultant destruction of natural resources.
