Struggling
to make an honest filmic portrayal of the world around him, a filmmaker
is led on a lonesome journey during which he seeks to answer ontological
questions about the meanings of creation and human beings. This
black and white, semi-autobiographical film is the first short in
a four-part series wherein the mind of a creative filmmaker is explored
as he attempts to "lift up the earth" by finding the truth
behind his film's images.
