"The Elements"

As Carl Jung said, you cannot describe the elements; you have to experience them. In this avant-garde piece, dance, music and film come together to take audiences on a journey into the essence of fire, water, earth and air. The project, divided into four separate segments, explores those elements and their distinctive differences with powerfully unique visuals.

Filmmaker Profiles: Christoph Baaden and Jane Fields

Born in Germany, Christoph Baaden received a master's of fine arts degree from the Film and Video Production Program at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. A graduate of UCLA, Jane Fields is a dancer, dance teacher and choreographer in Los Angeles. The Elements is Jane and Christoph's third film, which was recently screened at Cannes as part of Kodak's Emerging Filmmaker showcase. Recently, Baaden and Fields founded ART ALLIANCE, an artistic cooperative uniting the fields of film, music and dance.
