The Champagne Society
(NARRATIVE, 20 minutes)

The Champagne Society“When you're stuck in the past, there's nothing like your dreams to get you back into the swing of things.”Walter Thursby and his boys of the Champagne Society were born in the wrong time, and they're trying as hard as they can to stay stuck in the past.  When Walter encounters Emelia Tuppington, leader of the Anarchist Reading Club for Young Ladies, he finds himself falling in love with a woman—different from him in every way.  After Emelia is abducted by a SWAT team for various acts of treason, Walt enlists the help of the Champagne Society to launch an emergency rescue mission

Filmmaker Profile: Jonny Gillette

Filmmaker Jonny Gillette hails from Raleigh, NC. Gillette received his BFA in filmmaking at the North Carolina School of the Arts. He is currently finishing up his current film The Beach Party at the Threshold of Hell [www.thresholdofhell.com]. His next film, The Miraculous Awakening of Rupert Evans, will be shot entirely in North Carolina—Chapel Hill, Raleigh, Winston-Salem, and Asheville.
