Filmmaker Profile:  JOHN FITCH III, LISA INSERRA & CHAD COGDILL

Director: Lisa Inserra

Lisa Inserra has a Masters in Film and Video from Savannah College of Art and Design and a B.A. in Directing and Acting from Ithaca College. Her original play "The Ballad of Sandy Champagne" was produced in New York City in 1998. She has had gallery exhibitions in New York and Savannah doing performance art and video installation.  Inserra is the founder of VOX Theatre Company in New York City and recently completed an educational video on acting for television. She is currently producing poetry shorts on video and film, while teaching screenwriting, video production, and acting for television in the Tampa Bay area.

Producer/Sound Designer: John Fitch III

John Fitch III has worked in commercial television, sports broadcasting, documentary programming, public television, music videos, audio engineering, theatre and filmmaking as a professional, a student and an educator. He received a B.A. from Asbury College and a Master of Fine Arts in Film and Video from the Savannah College of Art and Design. He has been recognized for his award-winning work in video art, experimental video, music video and sound design. Until recently, Fitch was a professor at Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC. Fitch currently teaches film and video production at Eastern Kentucky University.

Director of Photography: Chad Cogdill

Chad Cogdill received a B.S. in Communications with an emphasis on video production from Missouri Western State College in St. Joseph, Missouri. He recently completed his M.F.A. in Film and Television at the Savannah College of Art and Design. He has worked as a cinematographer on short narrative and experimental films and in music videos. His work has shown in New York, Savannah, Chicago, and North Carolina. He currently works as a lab technician at Savannah Cinema Post. He resides in Savannah with his wife Jen and 10-month-old son Dylan.
