Sir JoshFor Josh, reality can be a restrictive experience as medical and mental factors prohibit him from enjoying the mundane aspects of life that many of us take for granted. This short documentary captures the reasons this exceptional man dedicates his time to his one-of-a-kind automobile and what his beloved car symbolizes to him. This humorous and heartwarming film also shares Josh's hopes and the obstacles he must to overcome to achieve his goals.

Filmmaker Profile:  CHRIS HITE

Chris Hite resides in Carrboro, North Carolina. He teaches courses and workshops on editing and two-dimensional animation at Piedmont Community College. Hite also collaborates with his wife, Alena, to produce animated segments for the children's television series, Smart Start Kids. They were honored at the regional Emmy Awards in 2004 for ‘Outstanding Achievement' in Children's Programming. Hite has been studying and producing film & video for the past 15 years. He has worked as an editor, director of photography, sound recordist, and animator for hundreds of commercials, industrials, and short films. Hite's previous film, The Rainy Day Escape, is a short children's story that has shown at film festivals both nationally and internationally.
