A Devil in Eden

On December 12, 1937, during the Chase & Sanborn Hour show, Mae West created a nationwide uproar. People threatened crusades against smut; the FCC denounced the show and West's radio career ended. "Speak-It!" Pictures orchestrated a cast of talen to revive, over the course of a day, the infamous "Adam & Eve" broadcast.

Filmmaker Profile: PATRICK HORNE

Born and raised in North Carolina, Patrick Horne, a graduate of Ohio University, is a n Emmy Award-winner as a result of his adaptation and careful execution of Kurt Vonnehut’s Harrison Bergeron (2001).

Upon graduation from Ohio University, Horne was recipient of the Director’s Achievement Award from the dean of the college. Horne has produced and directed three short films and one documentary, most of which have since competed and won awards in film festivals across the country.
