Harrison Bergeron

Harrison Bergeron is an adaption of Kurt Vonnegut's classic short story. This layered depiction of an incredible struggle betwen Bergeron and arch-nemesis Diana Moon Glampers, who resembles his mother, takes audiences on an intellectual thrill ride. Filmmaker Profile: PATRICK HORNE

Born and raised in North Carolina, Patrick Horne, a graduate of Ohio University, is a n Emmy Award-winner as a result of his adaptation and careful execution of Kurt Vonnehut’s Harrison Bergeron (2001).

Upon graduation from Ohio University, Horne was recipient of the Director’s Achievement Award from the dean of the college. Horne has produced and directed three short films and one documentary, most of which have since competed and won awards in film festivals across the country.
