Harvest
(DRAMATIC NARRATIVE - 23 minutes)
R. Keith Harris

Tony had an affair. He's confessed to his wife and they are working through their issues until his mistress returns to town. The heart is a fertile field and deceipt won't stay buried forever. Then comes...Harvest.

Harvest - a period drama set in 1954 - was nominated for "BEST OF FESTIVAL" at the Damah Film Festival at Culver Studio's in California and has since been invited to other festivals. Other awards include "I Gotta Cat" which he produced/directed. The film won the 48 hour video competition at the RiverRun International Film Festival in 2004.

Filmmaker Profile: R. KEITH HARRIS

R. Keith Harris has been in the Entertainment Industry for over 15 years. He is an award winning Actor, Screenwriter, Producer, and Director. As an actor, Keith has appeared on screen in the critically acclaimed film Junebug. Critics loved the film at Sundance and Cannes 2005. Keith is the lead in two upcoming independent films - "Chicks 101" , and "The Dog Days Of Summer" - an ensemble piece in which he starred alongside Will Patton (Armegeddon, No Way Out) and Richard Herd (Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil). Other credits include roles in "From the Earth to the Moon" on HBO, "Beverly Hills: 90210", "Dawson's Creek", A recurring on the WB's "One Tree Hill" and in Tim Burton's Film "Big Fish". In addition "Chicks 101" won BEST FEATURE FILM at the Carolina Pinnacle Studios Reel Backwoods Film Festival. Keith also co-produced "Chicks 101".

As a screenwriter Keith has garnered some acclaim. Out of 4150+ scripts - Keith's script "Damascus Road" finished in the Top 10 at the prestigious Scriptapalooza Screenplay Competition in LA, California.

Keith has his B.S in Radio and Television Production from Western Carolina University and his MFA-acting with a concentration in film from University of North Carolina, Greensboro. He was trained in Fight Combat/Choreography by the Society of American Fight Directors. He is also an active member of the Screen Actors Guild.
