Assistant Director for Training and Implementation at the
National Paideia Center
A
former English teacher at Southern Guilford High School where
she was a Paideia Facilitator, Cheryl Treadway has been the
Assistant Director for Training and Implementation for the
National Paideia Center since 1999. Treadway uses her expertise
in teaching and her knowledge of the Paideia method to write
training materials for teachers and administrators, plan and
demonstrate lessons for K-12 classes and coach schoolteachers
toward successful implementation of the Paideia model. She
also works with undergraduate classes at the University of
North Carolina at Greensboro who are studying Paideia teaching
techniques.
Cheryl
Treadway is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia
with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education.
