Saturday, February 16, through Wednesday, March 19, the stars are out and the stage has been set for another FESTIVAL full of all the finger-snapping, toe-tapping, thought-provoking and life-affirming specials! So, tune in during the final two weeks of February as member-supported UNC-TV presents a wide-range of exciting specials produced especially for viewers like you during the first fundraising push of FESTIVAL 2008.
FESTIVAL 2008 features family fun for our very important younger viewers, including special back-to-back episodes from their favorite silly simian on the Curious George Marathon. And everyone will enjoy Greatest Kid Concoctions, a 2007 Parents Choice Award winner, as John and Danita Thomas replicate top-secret recipes of toy manufacturers with their own easy-to-follow ones. Discover three-dozen wacky and wonderful ways to create commercial quality toys quickly, easily and inexpensively.

With Ben Owen III, live from his Seagrove studio, and Cruising Carolina, with Claiborne Young live in the UNC-TV studio premiering his new episode The Lower Banks. Producer/Director Rob Van Camp returns to the UNC-TV studio, too, to host his viewer favorites Blue Ridge Parkway: America’s Grand Balcony and Great Scenic Railway Journeys.
