HIGH SCHOOL ASSEMBLY SHOWCASES SOLDIERS’ STORIES
Thursday, April 14, at 1 PM
Join Natalie Bullock Brown for High School Assembly, UNC-TV’s live, one-hour program for and about high school students in North Carolina. On this edition, Thursday, April 14, at 1 PM, High School Assembly takes a close-up look at Soldiers’ Stories. Meet men and women serving in various braches of the US armed forces as they share what they’ve learned in and about the Iraqi nation, people, culture and more.
Whether intending to attend college or not, the military offers several attractive opportunities for high school students making plans for the future. With these opportunities come certain expectations—order and discipline, commitment, the possibility of serving in harm’s way and war zones. Hear the realities of military life from those who live it everyday on High School Assembly. Watch this live, interactive program and call in with your comments Thursday, April 14, at 1 PM.
High School Assembly is part of UNC-TV’s ongoing commitment to producing programs for and about North Carolina. Member-supported UNC-TV’s 11 stations comprise North Carolina’s only statewide television network, made possible through a unique partnership of public investment and private support.
