January's edition of Our State, airing Wednesday, January 4, at 8 PM (repeating Thursday, January 5, at 9:30 PM), explores Körner's Folly, a unique structure and whimsical house in Kernersville; takes in the excitement and action of a Friday night fall function on Friday Night Football-and shows how plants are just as important as animals to the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro on This Place is a Zoo?

On Körner's Folly one man's house turns into a town's castle-and a site on theNational Register of Historic Places. Discover all the quirks, nooks and knick-knacks found around this fascinating three-story house's 22-rooms and seven levels. In addition to uncovering the ins and outs of Kernersville's 125-year-old Körner's Folly, this season's Our State episodes climb to new heights with intriguing explorations of all the people and places that make our state great!
