SIMPLE LIVING ENTERS FOURTH SEASON APRIL 6
Mount Airy, NC – The fourth season of the Simple Living with Wanda Urbanska television series begins airing on UNC-TV on Sunday, April 6, 2008 at 6:30 PM. The popular, North Carolina-based how-to series – which teaches viewers how to be better environmental stewards, more thoughtful consumers, achieve greater community involvement and financial responsibility – will be offered for the first time in high-definition.
The new season will consist of 13 half-hour episodes and cover a wide range of topics such as global warming, local food, farmland preservation and a “green” remodel of a mid-century ranch house. Guests include: television personality Ed Begley Jr., internationally renowned green architect Bill McDonough, climate change activist Bill McKibben, green building guru David Johnston, Natural Home editor in chief Robyn Griggs Lawrence, and Beau Turner of Ted Turner Enterprises.
“We are delighted to be partnering with UNC-TV as our presenting station to PBS stations around the country,” said Wanda Urbanska, host and president of the Mount Airy-based Simple Living, an independent production company. The series is being distributed by the Boston-based American Public Television (APT). Frank Levering is director and co-producer of the series.
