"Energy is at the heart of what Rodin wants to communicate… the energy of human potential, the energy of creativity, the energy of beauty."
- Dr. Lawrence Wheeler, director of North Carolina Museum of Art
With works from museums and private collections in Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Washington, DC, the North Carolina Museum of Art's Festival Rodin special collection is the largest exhibition of Rodin's works ever assembled in the Southeast. Over 120 of Rodin's master works in clay, plaster, marble and bronze are displayed, from world-renowned sculptures like "The Thinker" and "The Kiss" to images from the "Gates of Hell" and "The Hands of God." Rodin: A Man of Passion inspires viewers to experience the power, energy and passion of one of the world's greatest sculptors.
