Something in Common explores the diversity issues facing nine schools from around the state. From Asheville to Raleigh, the show illustrates how some public school teachers are encouraging their students to discuss their differences, leading them ultimately to discover their commonalities. Each of the following school profiles summarizes the diversity issues impacting each school and the steps teachers and administrators have taken to open the eyes of their students and the communities.
