Over a decade ago, the Internal Revenue Service suggested a new tradition for the taxpayers of North Carolina: an annual program that would give viewers quick relief to their tax worries. As a result, Tax Break has provided tax relief every year through a live, call-in program that puts viewers--aka taxpayers--in touch with experts who can answer questions and concerns about preparing federal and state tax returns. This comprehensive program deals with hot topics and new changes to tax laws while answering frequently asked questions, viewer faxes and phone calls. A panel of experts gives user-friendly advice and answers to a variety of taxpayer dilemmas.
