High School Assembly

This month High School Assembly lights up awareness about the dangers of tobacco for North Carolina teens—over 27-percent of whom are smokers. Tobacco. Reality. Unfiltered. (TRU), an exciting new campaign funded by the North Carolina Health and Wellness Trust Fund, aggressively uses media and peer-to-peer advocacy to help Tar Heel teens live tobacco free. This past summer, TRU traveled to seven NC communities with exhibits, information, prizes and a crew taping teens for a new round of TV testimonials launching this fall.
