I.Q. The Science, Nature, Technology and the World Around Us Show

Blue crabs harvests bring in the most money of all North Carolina seafood. How the crabs live, reproduce, survive storms, and find new habitat is the subject of intense research. This show follows scientists from NC State who are doing the work.
"Shifting Sands" looks at research of geologists and others trying to understand the complex mechanisms of how the ocean moves sand along our outer banks. The want to know how storms and everyday currents do their work; this program examines what they are finding out.
