As the variety new way to access information increases, providing useful content becomes even more important. Organizations like UNC-TV are faced with new opportunities to provide a whole new range of innovative services to a statewide community and beyond.

Due to ever changing customer demands, innovative initiatives and an ever-evolving technology, the initial objectives are as follows:

1. Provide greater access to UNC-TV's locally produced broadcast programs
2. Exploit the latest interactive Internet and video based technologies to enhance the viewing experience.
3. Provide both teachers and students with video based instructional/information materials that can be used in the classroom and at home.
4. Investigate and develop new ways to develop interactive online video based applications for professional development and special skills training opportunities.
5. Highlight and explore how other PBS member stations and Internet entities are using new online technologies to entertain and educate.
6. And equally important, encourage visitors to provide feedback on various stages of the development of this service,
