Permanent Positions:On-Air Fundraising Producer
UNC-TV located in RTP, NC seeks an energetic, goal, detail and customer service oriented On-Air Fundraising Producer to lead and manage multimedia fundraising campaigns across broadcast, web, online and social media platforms. This position will execute membership strategies, acquire donors, convert sustainers, increase member retention, meet annual revenue goals and further UNC-TV's brand. This position must be able to innovate new strategies for donor acquisition and revenue generation and have proven ability to manage multi-project and collaborating across the organization and within Development in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Strategic, creative and analytical thinker and doer—proven success of thinking big picture and translating this into actionable outcomes.
Minimum qualifications include an undergraduate degree in a related field, preferably marketing, communications, liberal arts and at least three to seven years full-time (or equivalent) progressively responsible experience fundraising at a public media organization required. Experience with the mechanics of on-air TV fundraising drives, digital fundraising and demonstrated understanding of testing and data analysis. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Archival Content Internship
Spring 2018 Internships:
We are seeking an Archival Content intern to inventory and maintain UNC-TV archival moving image collections as a part of UNC-TV's mission to digitally preserve its historic broadcast archive from multiple videotape and digital formats. Duties will include encoding and editing A/V materials for multiple platforms through the Dalet MAM media asset management system, entering metadata including content description, preservation and arrangement of archival media as well as maintenance of archival show footage records. Duties may also include maintaining local database of Excel records, and potentially merging records into ENPS, ProTrack, and other UNC-TV/PBS database systems.
Hours of the position may vary, but are most likely to fall within a Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. timeframe.
Marketing Project Management and Reporting Internship
We are seeking an organized, thoughtful, digitally savvy marketing mind to join our marketing communications department. This role has a very high degree of responsibility and visibility, and it requires abilities in multiple areas, including marketing analysis, organization, presentation and report creation, and relationship management. Duties include but are not limited to: tracking and reporting on departmental projects, compiling reports and presentations, serving as a go to resource for project reporting for the marketing communications department.
Hours of the position may vary depending on the marketing communications schedule, but are most likely to fall within a Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. timeframe.
Production Assistant Internship
The producer's assistant intern is a valuable team member who will handle multiple tasks and projects for content producers. The intern may be asked to aid more than one producer on the team or rotate between several as needed. Duties can include but are not limited to: researching potential story ideas and guests, logging footage from field and studio shoots, reviewing emails/voicemails sent to the team and consulting with producers on how to respond, accompanying producers on field shoots, editing footage for broadcast and archival use, inputting metadata information for program and footage archives, and preparing/posting social media content.
Hours of the position may vary depending on the production schedule, but are most likely to fall within a Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. timeframe.
